With the commitment to continue improving in terms of efficiency, performance and sustainability, HIMOINSA has worked on an upgrade of its AS4006 lighting tower, incorporating cutting-edge LED technology and the efficient and compact Yanmar Stage V 2TNV70 engine.
This new version maintains the competitive advantages of its original design, being a mobile equipment with manual mast elevation, for those markets that require such functionalities, but incorporates more advanced engine and lighting technologies in line with the new lighting tower developments that the company is carrying out.
The evolution of technology has driven the shift to LED lamps, offering powerful and long-lasting illumination. LED lamps outperform metal halide lamps in energy efficiency and robustness. With the AS4006, users will now enjoy instant and reliable illumination of 210,000 lumens, without the inconvenience of the warm-up and cool-down processes associated with traditional lamps. In addition, power consumption has been reduced from 1,000W to 350W.

The AS4006 light tower is powered by the Yanmar 2TNV70 engine which ensures optimum performance and exceptional efficiency in terms of fuel consumption.
This twin-cylinder engine offers competitive fuel consumption levels with a fuel reduction from 1.64 L/h to 0.55 L/h, increasing the autonomy of the equipment and allowing service intervals of up to 600 hours. Competitive advantages of an engine that has been designed by Yanmar, HIMOINSA's parent company, whose product developments are led by a multidisciplinary team where engineers, designers and technical experts work to ensure the highest product efficiency and performance

Additional benefits
In addition to the improvements in performance and efficiency, the new AS4006 model offers a number of additional benefits such as a significant reduction in working time due to the compactness of the LED lamps which do not require lengthy warm-up and cool-down processes. In addition, the risk of failure is much lower because metal halide lamps tend to be weaker.
Availability
The new AS4006 model will be available from May, so all orders received from that date onwards will be registered with this new version. Therefore, the current version, with 3TNM72 engine, will be phased out and will no longer be available from May, depending on stock availability.
