HIMOINSA presents the new HT Range | Telecom Power, diesel and gas generator sets designed to be installed in base transceiver stations (BTS). Equipped with Yanmar engines, with low fuel consumption and long maintenance intervals, they have become the market’s best-in-class as they guarantee the highest standards in safety, efficiency and durability, as well as low operating costs.
The new range of HT generator sets incorporates diesel models of up to 45kVA, at 50 and 60Hz.
The gas generator sets in this range include all the benefits of the diesel version, as well as added competitive advantages in terms of:
✔ sustainability
✔ reduced emissions
✔ low sound emissions
✔ durability
✔ extended service intervals of up to 8,600 hours.

“We have been working on developing one of the most competitive power solutions for the telecommunications sector on the market; a sector that values HIMOINSA’s generator set with a Yanmar engine, as it offers a full warranty of quality and reliability in regards to product, service and spare parts,” explains Agustín Rodrigo, Storage & Telecom Global Product Manager at HIMOINSA.
As ‘A Yanmar Company’, the engineering and development centres of both entities work together to develop new products while optimising equipment performance to the fullest. Their RD&I centres are interconnected, and the industrial resources and production capacities of both companies allow them to solidify their presence in the international market with competitive and unrivalled power solutions.
Yanmar Engine | Best-in-class Efficiency
Yanmar, with its more than 100 years of history, has positioned itself as a pioneer in diesel engine technology in the international market. The Yanmar engines incorporated into HIMOINSA’s HT Range are a reference in the market thanks to their low consumption levels, allowing for a significant reduction in operating costs, in some cases reaching a savings of up to 0.45L per hour, if it is compared with other models in the market, amounting to about 200,000 L/year based on a telecommunications project with 100 towers operating 12 hrs./day.
Additionally, long service intervals of up to 1,000 hours allow for maintenance to be reduced by up to twice as much compared to other standard generators on the market.

Versatility | Scalable running time with tanks of up to 1000 L

One of the added values of this new range for diesel generators is the possibility to choose up to six different tank options, allowing the capacity to be increased to 1000L, thereby increasing running time and guaranteeing uninterrupted operation for up to 16 days without the need for refuelling. This results in a reduction in trips to the site and considerable savings in operating costs.
Customers can choose which fuel tank best suits their needs, and they can also upgrade it when the project so requires. To this end, we have put a lot of work into a design that guarantees a simple, fast and reliable installation.
Anti-theft Safety | Quick Connections
HIMOINSA generator sets for telecommunications have been designed with anti-theft bolts, security locks and protections to block fuel access, among other features.
In terms of functionality and fast connections, they have two incorporated distribution cable entries that provide easy connection and operation; a lower front entry that reduces the genset's footprint and an alternative lower side entry to facilitate connections. One version comes with a built-in ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) in the control panel, making it easier to connect to the grid without the need to have an external ATS panel. Another version for external switching is also available with different control panels and power configurations depending on the installation’s needs.
Reduce your carbon footprint by up to 20% with gas generator sets

In addition to guaranteeing high levels of sustainability and being environmentally friendly, these gas generators incorporate the Yanmar 4GPF98 engine, a competitive engine with a useful life of 30,000 hrs. which guarantees long maintenance intervals of up to 8,600 hours.
“Durability, response capability, long service intervals and operating cost savings“ is how Manuel Aguilera, Global Gas Unit Head at HIMOINSA defines the competitive advantages of gas generators for telecommunications. He explains that this equipment only requires three maintenance checks during the engine’s lifetime, significantly reducing travel, labour costs and, consequently, operating costs, not to mention a significantly-reduced carbon footprint and an ‘ultra-low’ sound level of 65dBA@1m.
