HIMOINSA posts record growth in UK over last eight months

UK market experiences ongoing upturn, driving growth of the subsidiary HIMOINSA Power Solutions Ltd since it was set up eight months ago in Gateway, Crewe.

A number of other factors have paved the way for the company to gain a foothold in several major sectors in the country aside from the strong growth in the rental sector in the UK, where HIMOINSA is gaining an increasing market share. Other types of product from the industrial range and the Bi Fuel generators have been added to its extensive offering of gas generators, with a wide range of power ratings from 8kw to 3.5 MW. Markets such as the data centre sector – experiencing rapid growth in the UK – require standby generator sets, which HIMOINSA has already provided for a number of flagship projects such as Latin America's largest data centre in Ecuador. "HIMOINSA Power Solutions Ltd is currently serving the industrial sector in the UK, mainly supplying standby generator sets, and generators for the hire sector, as well as providing generators to rental companies working on special projects that require non-standard configurations", clarifies Clive Dix, HIMONISA's Managing Director in the UK.

Due to the strong demand in recent months, the UK subsidiary has had to extend its facilities to a total surface area of 4,876 m2, boasting a wide stock of spare parts to be able to respond rapidly to its distributors' requirements in the UK. Its training centre in Crewe is continuously receiving technical personnel from distributors and hire companies, providing in-depth training on how HIMOINSA's generator sets operate.

Over the last few months, the company has attracted major hire companies to which it supplies generators that are specially configured for the hire market. Rental companies such as PowerHire, Speedy, Woodlands, Charles Wilson and Power Rental have included HIMOINSA generator sets in their equipment hire fleets. In recent weeks, "we have delivered several generators with different power ratings fitted with the Yanmar engine to Speedy, one of the leading equipment hire companies in the UK. HIMOINSA's engineering team is designing generator sets with large-capacity fuel tanks and low noise levels and emissions", states HIMOINSA's Managing Director in the UK, Clive Dix. "Our generator sets provide a large selection of watertight fuel tanks and different configurations for the base panels, as well as ensuring excellent functioning in parallel and other technical options made to order”, adds Clive Dix. Fully bunded, low emission and low consumption are the main features of the HIMOINSA generator sets. The company guarantees an excellent service for the rental bussines

Thanks to its position in the hire sector, the company will once again participate in one of the leading rental events in the UK. In February next year, HIMOINSA Power Solutions will attend the Executive Hire Show 2015, being held in Coventry on February 11 and 12.
