    New HIMOINSA generator sets with MTU engine in a 20-foot container

    More power, smaller size and improved cost-effective operation and maintenance

    HIMOINSA launches the new HMW-1270, a soundproofed generator set fitted in a 20-foot container.

    The new HIMOINSA unit provides more power in less space

    as until now generators of this power with an MTU engine could only be assembled in 40-foot containers, due to the size of the engines. This new release means that the 20-foot version offers more power, lower emissions, optimised fuel consumption and plenty of room for maintenance operations.

    The new design incorporates new air inlet ducts and soundproofing panels on the air outlet, guaranteeing HIMOINSA's usual excellent soundproofing performance.  The HMW-1270 model has been designed to provide an outstanding performance also in extreme temperature conditions. 

    The generator has an integrated 1250-litre fuel tank, possible thanks to its innovative chassis design.
