Lidia Gracia, vice-president of HIMOINSA, finalist in the ‘2021 CaixaBank Women in Business Award’

Gracia is in the running for the national award and aspires to be one of the Spanish representatives at the 2021 IWEC Awards, which will be presented at the 14th International Women's Entrepreneurial Challenge conference in November.

Lidia Gracia, a member of the board of directors and vice-president of HIMOINSA, has been selected for her track record, strategic vision, capacity for innovation and transformational leadership, as the winner of the Murcia Territorial Division of the '2021 CaixaBank Women in Business Award', which recognises the talent and professional excellence of businesswomen in Spain and encourages networking among leading businesswomen throughout the world.

Gracia has extensive knowledge of the company, having spent more than twenty years in positions of responsibility in purchasing, sales, administration, management and finance. She has undoubtedly made a major contribution to the development and expansion of HIMOINSA in EMEA, Asia and the Americas.

Olga García, territorial director of CaixaBank in the Region of Murcia, said: “Once again this year, CaixaBank is recognising the careers of leading women in our country through its ‘CaixaBank Women in Business Award’. This is our way of promoting our commitment to diversity, meritocracy, equal opportunities and the recognition of talent, the cornerstones of CaixaBank’s corporate culture”.

Once the territorial phase has been completed, a jury formed by CaixaBank’s Diversity Committee, made up of members of the Management Committee and various leaders of diversity projects, will choose the national winner from among the 14 territorial winners. The winner will be one of the Spanish representatives at the 2021 International Women's Entrepreneurial Challenge (IWEC) Awards, the worldwide network of leading women entrepreneurs from all over the world who cooperate on a global level, which will be presented in November.
