HIMOINSA brings its Spanish commercial network together at its Annual Convention

A meeting to take stock of the market and to present the new products that will allow HIMOINSA to continue growing in a country in which it is firmly established as one of the leading manufacturers, according to the international consulting firm Frost & Sullivan.

This year, HIMOINSA has chosen the Basque city of San Sebastian as the venue for its annual convention. Attended by delegates and distributors of HIMOINSA Spain, the meeting served to take stock of the first six months of the year and to set targets for the new 2020 financial year, in which new European regulations and market trends will define the milestones to be achieved.

Juan Ignacio Perona, from the Commercial Management of HIMOINSA Spain, describes this annual meeting as vital "to be able to share objectives, exchange opinions and implement growth strategies in Spain", a very important market for HIMOINSA given that it accounted for 13% of its global turnover in 2018, and in which it is positioned as the leading manufacturer of generator sets, according to the international consulting firm Frost & Sullivan.

    Growth opportunities

There are growth opportunities for the company in both emergency and P.R.P. applications. The company is constantly working on the development of new products for the rental sector that meet the new European regulations on emissions; generator sets with reduced emissions of polluting gases and low noise levels, as well as lighting towers with Stage V engines.

In addition to this, the objective of the company is to continue expanding its market share in standby applications, which is why it is working on the development of new generator sets, with new engines, such as the recent Baudouin series, and digital tools that allow the user to dimension the best equipment for each project.

During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to delve deeper into progress made in the different areas of the company with the aim of providing a comprehensive and quality customer service. Jorge Torres, Technical Service Manager, and Javier Escudero, Spare Parts Manager, have reaffirmed the importance of the After Market by reviewing the new tools that are being made available to users in order to provide an agile and immediate market response. Nicolás Bastida, Corporate Identity Manager, highlighted the company's strong commitment to the digitalisation of all its processes and the constant development of customer communication channels.
